Automated Data Processing of CAD data.
We perform repetitive or tortuous or boring CADD tasks by fashioning custom programs to assist in the jobs. Geometry recognition is used to locate shapes within vector format drawings, for data extraction and for CAD editing. External data is parsed from text files to create or modify drawing entities. The data is processed and then the product is delivered as drawings or text files.
Examples of Generating Data from Drawings
Areas of Interior Spaces are measured by developing wall center and surface lines, and corner hubs, to form contiguous polygons. A systematic allocation of the vertices provides a near 0% cumulative error. Area values are correlated to the enclosed room number TEXTs, and the results are linked to zones and exported.
Examples of Generating Drawings from Data
Shapes are identified by the size and relative orientation of their components, and then replaced with INSERTs or annotated for counting or subsequent modification. Examples for architectural drawings include furniture, doors and fixtures. Door schedules are made by leaf, hand and size. For GIS plans, tank, pipe line, and pump equipment forms are found, reprocessed into Inserts, equipment association links formed and text data exported.
Circuit routes of material flows and P&ID schematics are tracked to their terminations. The lines are labeled, intelligent center-lines added, and the destination names and displacements are tabulated. The derived features are compared to assignments and the discrepancies are annotated.
Text Tables of random ordered Text are recreated into row or column sequence, and exported in ASCII formats.
GIS data is loaded into drawings by geometry recognition of equipment pieces and their associated description text entities and other markers. Information is attached as Xdata and Attributes.
Bolt hole and tube sheet patterns are drawn from clearance rules; center numbers and X,Ys are annotated into bubbles and entered into text tables, and the coordinates are exported for CNC data.
Cross sections of streams are drawn from field data, the appropriate site titles are created, axis scales fitted to standard sizes, and section areas and channel hydraulic geometry are calculated. Delivered as text, DWG and plot files.
